Week 26
Sorry for the big delay in updates. I have been so busy at work trying to finish up my real estate classes, that I haven't had any extra time during the day. The good news is, I am finished with all of my core classes and am now working through the Colorado and general exam prep classes. My goal is to have my license by the time the baby is born, which is now feeling much more attainable.
January 11th was Bryant's birthday. We celebrated by xc skiing out to Pine Creek Cookhouse with a big group of close friends. Along the way we paused on the trail as someone would share a favorite Bryant memory. We laughed so hard all night. It was a blast! To view pictures, click on the album on the right side of the page.
The baby is growing and growing. My belly feels so big and round, and now I can not only feel but watch him do flip flops. It is really amazing. A few nights ago I fell asleep and Bryant came to bed after me. He put his hand on my belly and felt our little man doing his crazy routine. He was so excited to tell me about it in the morning, and I was so excited that I slept through the whole thing! :)
We have another check up next week. I just realized today that I can deliver in Aspen in as soon as nine weeks (they won't let you deliver up here unless you are 36 weeks pregnant. If you go in to labor, they put you directly on a jet to Grand Junction or Denver...no thanks!)
We are enjoying unseasonably warm and gorgeous weather in Aspen, and I am loving it. I made the decision to stop skiing for the season, which was both hard and easy at the same time. It will be hard to not partake in the adventures, but I don't want to risk any injury to our little man because I wanted to go out for a few turns. And, as a good friend reminded me at the gym last night, I have the rest of my life to ski with my little boy, why would I risk anything now?
So, that is our last week in a tiny nutshell.
Until the next adventure,
Bryant, Becca, Mali Burger and Baby Ragan

Honestly, I am relieved you are putting up the skis, for now. :) Your friend is right.
Your belly is looking bigger and so cute. :)I certainly hope you make it past 9 more weeks!! :)
You are looking so beautiful, Becs! Yeah for growing little boys.
